Yeah, some great finishing work all around. And notice the interior uphostery cleverly worked in behind DK! Good angle and the roofline and color of the building harmonize. So, good photo, too, I think! Maybe the only things missing are some actual burgundy and a burgundy outfit.

In case anybody cares the Fender Color was based on a 59 Olds. That super cool Caddy is Siena Rose. Later on in '65 a similar color was called Iris Mist on GTO's and on Chevy's it was Midnight Orchid. All are very similar but yet a little different. I am a total sucker for those colors...I love em!

All these cars were great for sneaking kids into drive-in theaters. Not that I ever did that. Stop laughing! The largest car I ever had was a '67 Ford Galaxie 500 hardtop. Nice car. Huge trunk. And back seat.
There seem to be a lot of MIJ Burgundy Mist Jaguars available these days. I think Ron Burgundy would approve.

Not an Eldorado. They have the name, Eldorado, above the crease on the trunk lid, and also have a rear bullet grill between the tail lights that matches the front grill.
Coming back from Santa Monica once I saw a VW mistake that view for an on-ramp...

I've just joined SurfGuitar 101 and Photo Of The Day "Burgundy Mist" matches my own burgundy mist hued surf guitar... I'm already getting a good feeling about this place!!
