Looking for some jazz and a little libations - js

I've always liked the idea, but never had the heart to follow through on it. Now that I'm a lil older (yeah yeah, I know I'm still a big kid), I don't really feel the drive to sticker up and axe anymore.

I got a Charlie Does Surf.com sticker on G&L Legacy as well as a black and white Zombie Surf Camp sticker on the pickguard. Also have a ZSC sticker on my MIJ Jag. Nothing overkill and they blend in nicely

I've got a 60's era Roth Studios "Powered by Fink" waterslide decal on my Jag. I cleared over it when I refinished it. I think it works well with the blue Krylon finish.

That looks awesome--if done right (as above), a sticker can look real classy.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

in honor of the incredibly awesome Mom_surfing and all her hard work on the sg101 T-shirts, I thought I'd revive this old thread...... Cool

Carol, if you ever get clients from Tilburg, Netherlands, you know who sent them Smile

I put a map of the Hawaiian Islands on my Tele pick guard. I couldn't stop myself!!

i got a couple of stickers on my crappy squier guitar, one is a von franco sticker and the other one in the back is a Kruse Sticker, called " El Boracho surfer" i'll get some pics of them later on, but if i was to get a jag or a jazzmaster i would just leave it the way it is.

My guitar has three stickers designed by my favorite graphic designer, Jorge Alderete. Although I like how it looks, when I buy my next guitar I won't even think about putting stickers on it. Lesson learned. Besides my sense of aesthetics and my visual taste has changed a lot in the last few years. Two years ago I would have loved the idea of a sticker-plastered guitar but now I don't like it very much.

I don't see a guitar in this pic... Embarassed LMAO

Put a Shag tiki sticker on my strat... it was kinda spur of the moment but I still dig it. Don't know of any other place I'd rather put it.

Whats the best way to get a sticker off a nitro finish guitar?

If it is a vinyl sticker it will pull off. Then just rub the residue off. If it is a paper sticker then just get it wet and rub it off.

I can only think of one sticker I'd put on a guitar. I just need the right guitar...

Sorry to dredge up this old thread. But I tend to like some guitar stickers, especially the semi-transparent static ones. I just put these on my Jazzmaster '66, my one and only surf guitar.

I can take the pin-up girls off and move them around the body.
