Welcome to the new SurfGuitar101.com! This format was launched on February 25, 2006.
This site combines my love for all things computer geekery and my other passion: instrumental surf music. I hope this site is useful for both surf fans and musicians, as it offers the following:
Users can submit news, show announcements, show reports, reviews, etc. These stories can then be ranked and commented on by others. These stories are then archived on this site.
Web based forum area to discuss all things related to surf music.
A database of useful links.
Surf music FAQ's.
Photos of surf bands in action.
An event calendar so people can quickly see what shows are coming up.

After ten years on the Internet, it's time to give it a rest:
IN THIS FINAL ISSUE: Up Close with TLM Editor, Dick Stewart (Lance Monthly’s tenth anniversary; let the hiatus begin); Tenth Anniversary Comments (from TLM’s most ardent fans); Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender (A report by Sonny West – Rockabilly Weekenders growing in worldwide popularity); A Chat with Tinker Carlen (Was he an original Cricket? – interview conducted by Dick Stewart); Paterson’s Jump, Jive, and Harmonize (Reviews of releases by The Liverpool Five; 3 Balls of Fire); MuzikMan’s The Lance Monthly Album Pick of the Month [“010110001 (Limited Edition)”- Ayreon]
We are happy to announce the upcoming release of our new album "Jungle of Twang". It will be released by Kamikaze Records of Germany. The album is ...GREAT, we recorded it at Circo Perroti Studios, Gijon Spain, last December.
Check out our tour dates, we'll be touring a bit around Germany and Switzerland this Spring and Summer, and are to keep doing so for the next year.
Here we have a brilliant video and stellar surf song from Argentina's The Tormentos. This is Dragstrip Night from their split album "The Phantom Surfers Race Against The Tormentos".
